With our pursuit to be a part of the evolution of cycling and our desire to embrace new technologies and products has come a further Sexy Bicycles marque 'BASE'. BASE will produce a series of road and fixed/single speed bicycles with a belt driven system, as opposed to the traditional chain drive.

The main advantages of a belt drive system are that the belt requires no lubrication and hence is very clean and very low maintenance. The belt is significantly lighter and lasts significantly longer than a chain. In comparison to chain drive systems, belt drive systems are also almost completely silent.

BASE bicycles are currently in the sampling stage and are anticipated for release early in 2010.
